Medium is a solo album by musician Clark "Plazmataz" Powell. It is named after the fictional location in the game Sburb in Homestuck. Within the Medium are small planets that each have two aspects, such as "Wind and Shade." Each track on Medium is named for one of those aspects from a planet belonging to one of the beta kid characters.
Medium is the ninth (formerly thirteenth) official album released on the Homestuck Bandcamp, and the third solo album released by an independent member of the Homestuck music team. By Clark "Plazmataz" Powell, Medium is a short album inspired by the four fantastical planets in the beta kids' Medium, hence the title. The album places more emphasis on atmosphere than melody, using crisp, high-quality instrumentation to invoke wonderment and other colorful emotions tied to the unique settings in Homestuck.
